Our Community

Welcome to COREED

COREED is a federation of over 60 non-government facilitators of educational, health and economic development in rural South India, focusing on the State of Andhra Pradesh since 1987. Born out of first hand experiences of oppression and servitude, we are result-oriented organizations who have been successful in improving the quality of life of the underprivileged Dalits and Adivasis living in remote and inaccessible villages in this region.

So far, we have made a difference in the lives of thousands of voiceless oppressed and intend to continue to do so till the quality of life of the last of the unreached has improved.

We’re Helping People in Need Around the World

  • Our Experiences

COREED is born out of the real-life experience of our founder Rev. Dr. Joseph Ravela who hails from a remote village.

Our Assets

Our asset is our commitment, which has enabled us to weather the storms of life in the path of bringing succour to the voiceless, oppressed and underprivileged majority of rural South India. It is the people who are a part of our organisation who are the backbone of our organisation.

We own a vehicle and a building, from where we operate. Most of our schools in the villages are located on premises that have been given gratis by philanthropic villagers. In most other places we are running schools from temporary shelters, which offer some protection from the elements.
